Cash App Review: Sending Cash Is Easy Now Review

Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

Transfer your money from your bank card to another card or account with Cash App. Download Cash App for iOS 10.0 or later and Android.

Functionality 5/5

The essential feature of this app is to request, receive and send money from your bank card. Deposit your checks with it and get discounts at different stores or restaurants with it. Also, you can sell or buy bitcoin here. Use your existing debit or credit card or create a Cash Card - a unique Visa card to this app.

Design 3/5

The design isn't original, the main color is green - like the color of the money, we get it. Very innovative. Such a design we can see in many applications, and this isn't an advantage. So why not to do something amazing in design to stand out from the rest? No color themes or night view are available here.

Usability 3/5

This Cash App review’s purpose is to tell you that you need this app if you don't like a similar app that you already have for your bank card. Maybe that one doesn't work properly or too difficult to use, you can use the Cash App. But keep in mind that there were a lot of negative reviews about it and its support doesn't work properly. Also, you might want to have more functions available in this app. But if you need to send and receive money only and you want some discounts this app is perfect for you.

Cash App Interface

Once you receive money, they'll stay on the Cash App balance. To get money to your bank account or a card you need to file a deposit. But you can order Cash Card in this app - a new Visa card to which you receive all the transfers. You get boosts (discounts at different places) and cash back on the Cash Card. Yes, the name is a bit confusing. Use your Cash Card in Apple pay.

There are different fees for using this app depending on if you use this app for personal or business matters. Big businesses won't appreciate Cash App, but it will be perfect for small entrepreneurs because it's easy and affordable for them.

Cross-platform use 5/5

You can use this app on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. You need iOS 10 or later. You can use Face or Touch ID to login to Cash App on them. We advise you to use them if you can to keep your data safe.

In-app purchases

The app is free to use for debit cards, but it gets commissions off credit cards. You pay 3% off your payments from a credit card. Businesses pay 2.75% from the received sum. Instant deposit in Cash App cost 1.5% when the usual one is free.

The Bottom Line

There are so many sending cash apps that you have to think twice before downloading Cash App. This one isn't bad but not that special but at the same time. One of the main differences in this app is selling Bitcoin. You can also “gift wrap” the cash which you send - it’ll be received by your friend with a gift-like sticker in his message. Not important but fun and unusual.

Conclusion

If you're just a citizen or a small business owner this app might be good for you for sending and receiving money.

Pros : Intuitive to use;
Debit cards transactions are free of charge;
You can deposit checks here and buy/sell Bitcoin.

Cons : Still not enough functions available;
It charges commission off a credit card.

    My phone number and user ID changed because I bought a new phone. My daughter sent me $200 using old number and user ID. I never received it. My banking info didn't change, so what happened to the money. Ive made several attempts to speak to someone by phone not email, no results. Where is my money? they want to send a code to a phone that is not in my possession in order for me to access old account. I'm completely frustrated.

    Let's grab a new backgrounds featuring the option to allow the owner/user to personally create their very own features on this card. This would bring in more revenue and besides it would make the use/owner feel exciting to tell a friend. Now, for using my Ideal would cost a small donation to my small business * Zion Scented Candles* Copyrighted... TM.
